CHESS and BACKGAMON GAME. - 20th-century 2-in-1 game comprising a reversible board in soft red and black imitation leather, with 32 wooden tokens and a pair of six-sided bone dice. The obverse of the tokens is smooth, and the reverse features a molded terracotta chess pattern. The game mat folds in half and wraps around a cylindrical case that closes at the ends with two caps that also serve as cups for throwing dice in backgammon. Staining and small tear at the middle fold of the game mat, bottom of a split cap.
