Paris, Grimbert, 1828. 2 volumes in-8, havana half calf, smooth spine decorated with gilt and cold motifs, speckled edges (period binding). First edition. The author, born in 1765 and died in 1842, was mayor of Laon, then prefect of Corrèze and Haute-Vienne under the July monarchy. Autograph address from the author to his beloved daughter. Some brown spots.
