SIMA Joseph. MIXED TECHNIQUE SIGNED. 50 x 65 cm, framed. Superb original gouache, watercolor and ink on paper signed on the front in ink by Sima. In the 1980s, I worked in the bookshop of Jean Hugues, Joseph Sima's gallery owner. In his gallery, Le Point Cardinal, he noticed my interest in the Joseph Sima work described above and said to me: "buy it, it's an exceptional work, I can't hang it near other Simas because it's so luminous and that powerful blue kills all the works hanging on the picture rail". I kept it for a long time, then sold it to a collector.
