Processional cross with a gold background, tempera on wood. The arms are bordered by leaf-shaped hooks, with the ends shaped like quatrefoils and topped with a fleur-de-lis. Front: Christ on the cross with a haloed head tilted toward his right shoulder, wearing a long, transparent perizonium, feet crossed, with the inscription INRI; he is framed by busts of saints, from left to right and top to bottom: Clare (?), Margaret accompanied by the dragon, Bernard of Clairvaux holding his crozier and the book of his rule, and Lucy presenting her eyes on a platter. Reverse: in the center, the Throne of Grace; within the quatrefoils, the Annunciation, with the Archangel Gabriel on one side and the Virgin Mary on the other; at the top, St. John the Baptist holding the lamb and a scroll bearing the inscription in Gothic letters ecce agnus [dei]; at the bottom, a female martyr.
