A gilded pastiglia chest with polychrome painted decoration. Front panel featuring, in the center, the Judgment of Paris flanked by candelabra topped with a putto’s head and, on either side, a nude figure on the left holding a cornucopia and fruit, and a woman playing with her child on the right; the ends of the panel feature a cascade of fruit and leaves suspended from garlands adorned with medallions; the side panels are decorated with a coat-of-arms cartouche set among branches of leafy and flowering foliage. Tuscany, second half of the 15th century H. 54.5 cm - W. 153 cm - D. 55.5 cm (restorations, notably to the lid and base; cracks)
