A pair of carved, polychrome, and gilded wooden angels carrying candles. Standing with their wings raised, they each hold a cornucopia as a candleholder; they are dressed in a mid-length tunic, belted and flared at the waist, and wear ancient-style buskins; their faces feature full cheeks and large eyes that extend toward the temples, framed by abundant curly hair; bases resting on claw feet, adorned on the front with a putto’s head. Spain or Italy, late 16th century H. 95 cm (some damage)
