Bon état Italie, XVIIIe siècle L. 65 cm – Poids brut : 504 g Hunting dagger, horn handle, silver-plated hilt with scrolled quillons. The blade is gilt at the heel and marked Piccinino, emblazoned with fleurs-de-lys under a crown on both sides, and inscribed NV NC DECET, leather scabbard with two silver-plated trimmings. The blade was originally that of a sword or large dagger made by Antonio Piccinino, a major Italian supplier in Milan in the late 16th to early 17th centuries, and was reused for this dagger. The coat of arms is almost certainly that of a great Italian family. Good condition. Italy, 18th century L. 25 9/16 in - Weight: 18 oz 481 CH Bibliographie : - Dudley S.
