MAN STANDING Mayan culture, Jaina Island, State of Campeche, Mexico Classical, 550-950 A.D. H. 16 cm - W. 7.5 cm. Red-brown ceramic with traces of white and blue pigments. Standing figure, shirtless, wearing a loincloth tied around the waist. Beautiful expressive face topped by an intricate pastille headdress.
