In this present volume are contained the vyes of huict excellens renamed personnaiges greekz, romans, put in paragon moon of the other: first written in Greek language. Paris, Galliot du Pré, 1547. In-8, red morocco, single and double fillet frame connected at the corners, back decorated in the same way, inner roulette, gilt edges (Hering & Muller). Very careful edition, given by Galliot du Pré, of Georges de Selve's translation, interrupted at the latter's death in 1541, and taken up by Amyot. Adjusted copy. Restoration of the upper hinge, one split jaw, dirt on the back, rubbed corners.
