Small in-8, midnight blue morocco with long grain, wide gilt border, smooth spine decorated, inner frame decorated with gilt irons, lining and endpapers of blue moire, gilt edges, cover, case (H. Blanchetière). Very nice publication by Léon Curmer, illustrated with 10 frontispieces, one plate out of text and 66 vignettes in the text, all engraved on copper or wood after Adrien Féart, Penguilly, Charles Jacque, Jeanron, Trimolet and Pauquet. First edition. A fine copy from the library of Jules Le Roy (ex-libris).
