La Gran comedia: Fuego de Rios en el Querer bien. Fiesta que se ha de representar à sus Magestades en el Salon de los Reynos del Real Palacio del Buen-Retiro. S.l.n.d. [Madrid?, first half of the 18th century]. In-4, booklet paginated from 59 to 107, red morocco, gilt lace, coat of arms in the center, spine decorated, gilt edges (Binding of the time). Pedro Calderon de La Barca (1600-1681), poet and playwright, is the author of more than 200 dramatic plays. He is best known today for his play Life is a Dream (1635), one of the masterpieces of Spanish theater of the Golden Age. Bound in morocco with lace with the coat of arms of Philippe de France (1683-1746), grandson of Louis XIV and king of Spain from 1700 to his death. Handwritten ex-dono on the title, Per Mariam P. Laurentium des Venetiis, and signature Antonio Gaspar. Small wetness with wormholes at the foot of the quires, in the inner margin. Some rubbing to the binding, small restoration to the head cap.
