In-4, stiff vellum, decorated in the style of Du Seuil and with a central diamond-shaped fleuron in cold, smooth spine bearing the title in ink (Binding of the period). Edition in the Latin translation of David Whitford, gathering the works of Musaeus, Bion and Moschus, as well as a selection of nine idylls of Theocritus. It is decorated with 2 plates finely engraved on copper by William Faithorne. The Greek text is accompanied by the Latin translation. Beautiful copy in contemporary vellum.
