COURTELINE Georges THE 51st HUNTER. Paris, Flammarion, n.d. In-12, illustrated cardboard of the edition. GREYSON Emile. JUFFER DAADJE AND JUFFER DOORTJE. Paris, Flammarion, n.d. In-12, cardboard of the edition. These two volumes contain on the cover pages poems by Baudelaire (Spleen and Ideal), copies of the hand of André Breton's grandfather (3 pages), as well as a biography of Ernest Renan (3 pages) and an extract from the Martyrs of Chateaubriant (3 pages), also in ink from Breton's grandfather. AUTOGRAPHIC NOTE IN PENCIL BY ANDRÉ BRETON: "Copy from the hand of my grandfather Pierre Le Gouguès. AB." It is interesting to note that Breton's grandfather already appreciated Baudelaire's poems.
