Booklet in-8, paperback, cover illustrated in black with gouache highlights, light havana canvas cardboard case, title and double gold and red frame in the center of the top cover. Original edition illustrated with 14 drawings by Yves Tanguy, including the cover on the title page and 3 off-text. One of the 5 non-commercial copies on China marked in the name of the addressees (the smallest edition of the large papers), this one printed in the name of Jacques Prévert at the justification, mention crossed out by René Char who replaced it by his own name, in red ink, and bearing on the cover page, this autograph consignment signed in pink ink: to René Char the umbrella bird who listened and listened to the fishing rods pissing in the cupboards with my friendship Benjamin Péret René Char, after having broken with the surrealist group, will also end his relationship with Benjamin Péret, in December 1935, by a letter in which he replies to the attacks of his former friend: "Péret, great poet but sad bastard...". The cover, the title, the 3 off-texts and some banners have been enhanced in gouache colours by Yves Tanguy. Original red pencil drawing (6 x 20 cm) attached.
