Refined, rare and ancient Ligbi mask from the Do society, whose performances were linked to Islamic festivals. The half-closed eyes, the half-open mouth and the refined scarifications are characteristic. It represents a female face, topped with the hairstyle worn by Muslim women during the Shawwal ceremony. According to Jean-Paul Barbier, this type of mask honored " (...) fully the beauty of which is imprinted the human community during the days that follow the end of Ramadan ".
