Collection of 3 rare opuscules, each in first edition, composed by André Derossant (or de Rossant), poet and jurisconsult from Lyon in the 16th century known for his passion for anagrams. The volume is constituted of the following pieces: - Latin poems, and French, on two anagrams (one Latin, the other French) of the Name of very-noble man, Messire Jehan de Vivone, Marquis de Pisany, Chevalier des deux Ordres du Roy. Tirées des admirables, & heureux Anagrammes de leurs Noms, François & Latins, illustrez de vers, en l'une, & l'autre langue. The book of the Estreines is printed with great luxury, each of the gifts being accompanied by the coat of arms of the recipient, except for the princess Christine of Lorraine.
