Affectionate letter from the Princess, to the eldest natural daughter of the Duke of Berry, whom she had brought up in the Palace, after the Duke's assassination. "My dear Charlotte, your good husband will bring you this word of friendship and tell you how much I desire to see you again. We were very happy to have him for some time and that we are still keeping Charles. Adinolfe asks me to tell you that he is very happy to be with him. The Pope will tell you what I have done about the Foresta affair &c. [...] I will not tell you what to do. [I do not speak to you from here about the Duke of Francesca and Adinolfe. I have good news about Clementine and Isabelle. I hope you also have good news about Marguerite and her children [...]."
