Very interesting political correspondence. In 1642 to the marquise of Villa, she asks him "Néantmoins you will make me a singular pleasure to continue your advisings on the success of your voyage..." and in the second letter, it is question of the disease of her daughter, married to Maurice of Savoy. She trusts in the advice of a doctor "who will be able to remedy the illness... for the connoissance that he has of his natural"; she continues on the management of her duchy, in her letter of September 13, 1652, to the marquis of Villa, she evokes military rivalries and announces that it is necessary to convince the French to be on their side; on November 26, 1660 to the marquis of Villa, it is question of the marriage of Miss of Orleans and the big prince of Tuscany; on January 7, 1661 to the same, this one in mission in Paris, could not be received in audience by the cardinal Mazarin. She deplores maneuvers (in particular of the nuncio) to circumvent Mazarin; in her letter of April 15, 1661, she mentions the superintendent Fouquet and the cardinal Mazarin. It is question of the relations with Venice and the legation of the Dutch ambassadors; on June 3, 1661, she refers to the superintendent Fouquet "habbiamo poi veduto cio che n'è trattato col signore sovrintendente Fouquet..."; July 1661 to the marquis of Villa, the duchess mentions the queen of England her sister; September 9, 1662, It is question of the provisioning of Savoy in salt. She mentions the partiality of Colbert: "he signore Colbert if mostri assai partiale..." October 20 of the same year, her letter evokes works of repairs of a riprap on a river, she also mentions the Pope; finally, December 15, 1662 to the marquis of Villa, she announces the new mission of the marquis of Senantes, lieutenant-general of Savoy, who is dispatched in diplomatic mission near the duchess of Orleans and Mademoiselle of Valois.
