Mahal Ziegler carpet from the Arak region, Central Persia Circa 1900 This large, beautiful rug is embellished with large multicolored flowers intertwined with ivory flowers and floral scrolls on a brick-red ground. A wide navy blue border with polychrome flower garlands is framed by six narrow yellow, ivory and floral counterborders. Hand-knotted wool rug on cotton warp and weft 6.10 x 4.45 m - 20ft x 14ft 7 Good condition
