PIAF Edith. - Lot 258
PIAF Edith.
AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED. Paris, June 6, 1946. One page in-4 on headed paper with her signature.
This letter is reminiscent of Cocteau's play Le Bel indifférent, in which Edith Piaf played the female role opposite a distant lover, both on stage and in her life: I wish you in life to be as happy as I am right now, even with a man who doesn't love me!
