Some wetness In this work, the bisontinan poet, draftsman and antiquarian Jean-Jacques Boissard (1528-1602) publishes his own works on ancient Rome, as well as those of his predecessors, notably Bartolomeo Marliani and Fabio Calvo (part two). His drawings were engraved by his friend Théodore de Bry or his workshop. The plan of "modern" Rome, engraved by de Bry in 1597, derives from the Brambilla-Vanaest plan of 1590, with a different presentation of St. Peter's Basilica.
