[MOLINIER Pierre] EMMANUELLE. 4 ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF HER, one dedicated to Molinier [1965]. - Original period print of Marayat nude 12 x 13 cm - Original print of the period showing Marayat half-naked at her home in Bangkok 17.5 x 12.7 cm The two photographs are inserted in two cardboard sheets, one of which bears this dedication in ink: pour Pierre avec amour Emmanuelle Bangkok February 24, 1965 - Original vintage print of the famous nude photograph of Marayat. 12 x 13 cm, lightly laminated to sheet, from Molinier's personal album. - Original vintage print of Marayat nude in cushions at her home in Bangkok. 13 x 17.5 cm Marayat never posed for Molinier. Prints of the photos she sent him were used by Molinier in some of his photomontages. Marayat Rollet-Andriane dite Emmanuelle [Arsan] was world-famous for her novel of the same name, actually written by her husband Louis-Jacques Rollet-Andriane, a diplomat stationed in Bangkok for a time.
