Classically made, this reliquary figure, probably Obamba, features a face with harmonious features in the center of its composition, adorned with particularly meticulous lamellar work. The side caps ending in scrolls are typical of the Ndasa group. The imposing crescent at the top is adorned with brass cabochons. The superbly balanced whole and the magnificent patina suggest that this is one of the most remarkable works of this group.
