Silver, stone or colored glass hammam heap Ottoman Empire, 18th century D. 17.7 cm This Hammam heap is in chased and embossed silver, with alternating decoration executed from the outside on the umbilicus and from the inside on the cavet. The central umbilicus is topped with a bluestone and decorated with flowers and leaves. The inner part of the bowl, chiselled from the inside, features alternating trees decorated with fish scales and bunches of flowers, foliage and other vegetation.
