The gilding on this charming little tombak hammam heap has been beautifully preserved. As is often the case, it features a central umbilicus for a good grip on this object used to pour water over the body. It features a scalloped border, and a central decoration in relief around the umbilicus, forming a flower whose petals are themselves centered with florets and cintamanis.
