The ewer features an embossed, gilded and silvered decoration of a calligraphic cartouche on the body, centered on a tughra in a sun, a leafy branch, and various motifs of florets, palmettes and petal friezes. The two matching cups are adorned with florets in cartouches and a tughra in a sun, and accompanied by their saucers whose scalloped rim evokes the petals of a flower.
