Turban coverlet with radiating saz leaves Polychrome threads on linen Turkey, 18th century Mounted on a 100 x 100 cm frame (Wear) This embroidery features motifs in red, blue, pink, brown and yellow on a cream background, depicting radiating saz leaves, florets and foliage. A floral frieze of florets frames the central register. The format and radiating decoration organized around a central medallion allow us to identify it as a turban-holder.
