Two Ottoman combs - Lot 329
Two Ottoman combs Ivory, gold Ottoman Empire, 19th/20th century The first is adorned on each side with a gold plate openworked with fine foliage, with a calligraphic medallion in the center (probably bearing the name of its owner, "Emineh Neireh"), and bearing the date 1341 AH / 1922 AD (8 x 10 cm; 51.66g; accidents). The second is decorated with a central band finely openwork with a ribbon motif crisscrossed between foliage (8 x 13 cm; 27.49g). CITES certificate issued on 21/11/2023
