Large ottoman bedspread with red and blue eyelets Polychrome silk threads embroidered on linen, cotton lining Ottoman Empire, late 17th century 220 x 140 cm (good condition) This large, beautiful cotton-lined textile features a lavishly embroidered design of red carnation scrolls alternating with blue flowers, on a background of green scrolls and foliage on a cream background.
