Tufenk rifle with radiant star inlays Wood with ivory, stained ivory and brass micro-inlays, gold and silver damascened steel Turkey, 18th century, Ottoman Empire L. 124 cm Ottoman tufenk-type rifle, in wood with a profusion of ivory, green-tinted ivory and brass micro-inlay decoration, all forming festoons, geometric motifs and a multitude of small radiating stars, on the canted stock. The miquelet system and barrel are in gold damascened steel. The barrel is adorned with four silver nasturtiums. The typology of this tufenk and the decorative techniques used are typical of 18th and 19th century Turkish production. CITES certificate issued on 27/11/2023
