Large textile with architectural design Textile embroidery on felt Ottoman world, 19th century 251 x 50.5 cm This textile is organized around a central architectural motif, consisting of a fountain flanked by two vases containing bouquets, under an arch supported by two columns. On either side are large floral motifs on either side of two minarets. The format and typology indicate that this textile was probably used as decoration in a tent.
