Illustrated with a portrait of Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, Count of Toulouse and Admiral of France, copper-engraved by Pitau after Gobert, 21 plates of portraits and recumbents, and 22 plates of 285 seals.

Volume I is incomplete with 8 plates (13 of 21) and 5 leaves of text (pp. 83-84, pp. 787-792 and pp. 823-824). Some foxing and foxing to quires. Binding restored at head, corners and spine.
