ROUSSEAU (Jean-Jacques). Extract from the perpetual peace project of Monsieur l'abbé de Saint-Pierre. S.l. [Paris], 1761. In-12, tortoiseshell calf, triple gilt fillet, ornate smooth spine, marbled edges (period binding). First edition, with frontispiece engraved by Charles-Nicolas Cochin after Pigalle (Dufour, n°129; Tchemerzine, t. V, p. 542). Some light foxing, epidermis to binding, two jaws cracked.
