In-8 violet jansenist morocco, ribbed spine, blue morocco lining with mosaic floral motif at corners, framed with gilt and cold filets, jonquil silk endpapers, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved (Marius Michel). First edition, decorated with a portrait of the author. A very fine copy in a binding by Marius Michel. Ex-libris from the libraries of Paul Voûte and Eg. Boucher.
