VIGNY (Alfred de). Servitude et grandeur militaires. Paris, Édouard Pelletan, 1898. 2 volumes in-8, eggplant morocco, large frame composed of three sets of five crossed gilt fillets at the corners, spine decorated with sets of gilt fillets, inner frame decorated with a set of four fillets and pearled fillets, lining and endpapers in light gray brocaded silk, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine, slipcases (P. Ruban, 1892). 51 and 84 illustrations by Louis Dunki, wood-engraved by Clément Bellenger. Edition of 350 copies, this one with a suite on chine of all the woodcuts. A few rare spots on the edges and on one leaf. Spine very slightly faded.
