Pair of Neoclassical-style torches, resting on a square base with staves, and chased with friezes of ribboned foliage, the bell and shaft are chased with channels and moldings. The circular vase-shaped spigot is adorned with pearl and leaf friezes. Mexico, early 19th century Tax mark and hallmarks of Cayetano Buitron et Gomez on the base.
